Preschool Program

Welcome to our preschool program here at Trinity Lutheran Preschool!

Our preschool program serves children from 3 years of age and potty trained to 4/5. When children in this program reach the age of 4/5, they are placed in our Pre-Kindergarten class in order to support their academic, social and emotional needs. Ages are based on birthdays on or before September 30. Pre-K is for those going into kindergarten or those who missed the cut off date for school. We offer a variety of schedules to fit your family’s needs including half day programs (2, 3, 4 and 5 days), and full day programs (3, 4 and 5 days), which includes extended care. Preschool takes place from 9:00am-12:30pm. Extended care is from 6:45am – 9:00am and 12:30pm – 6:00pm.

Our programs provide a wide variety of learning experiences for children, which will enrich the social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical development of each child, in a warm Christian atmosphere. Our programs focus on developing the “whole” child. Each child is unique and our programs are designed to meet varied interests and developmental needs. Our teaching methods are based on a developmentally appropriate philosophy and a belief that children learn best through “hands-on” experiences as well as through play. Our program will provide children with an excellent means to create, explore, and discover the world around them in their own special way.

We will give them their blanket/pillow/nap cuddly and rub their back, if needed. We play soft soothing music to help them rest. This is an important part of the day as well.
